I wrote a suggestion to DA regarding group submission and decided to put it to journal as well.

INTRO

So, for me who always submit my deviation to more than 200 groups, it's a very time consuming and unbearably boring and frustrating process.

I made a list (on Ms. Excel) of all the groups I joined in, also all the groups detail such as the global limit, the amount of watchers, is it instantly accepted or not, etc. Everytime I want to submit a deviation to all the groups I joined in, I copy-paste the group name to the "type a group name" section. Going back and forth from Ms. Excel to DA. Not to mention choosing the correct folder. Some groups have so many folders and it take times to search the one you're looking for. And the most annoying part, after I choose the folder, sometimes it tells that the folder is full or I have reached the global limit. Of the +200 groups, I can't friggin record which groups have 1/day limit, 1/week limit, etc, and sure there's no way I could know whether the folder is full or not.

Imagine, I have to open excel, copy group name, paste on the "type a group name" section, choose the correct folder, click submit, go back to excel, copy the next group name, rinse and repeat +200 times.

Good things there is these awesome people that made a script/ extension that save my life:

fav.me/d4xvlhb

1. List all the groups you joined (it's in the recent group section, instead of only showed recent groups, it list all the group you joined)

2. Shows whether your deviation already in the groups or not

3. Managing groups in group-collection

Also this:

1. Sort the groups folder in alphabetical order

These extensions save a ton of time and palm-ache! But it still take +1 hour to submit to +200 groups folders.

Group submission system upgrade and ability to submit deviation to multiple groups in one click

★ So, what I'm suggesting is:

IN ONE WINDOW YOU CAN

1. See list of all the groups you joined

2. See whether your deviation is already in the group or not

3. See the group global limit and whether you've reached it or not

4. Sort the folder names alphabetically

5. See when the folder is full

6. Make group collection

7. Submit to all groups in one click

My concept for this part is, instead of clicking submit for each group, the submit button is only one.

- Beside every group name, there is the "check/uncheck" button, you only submitting to "checked" groups

- You choose the folder you want to submit to for each group

- After that, click submit on the very bottom part of the list. With one click, the deviation is submitted to all the "checked" group

- The most important part, the default state of the drop-down menu folders can be saved for future use so you don't have to choose the folders all over again.

For example, group A have "Digital Art", "Traditional Art, and "Photography" folder. The default folder of the drop-down menu is "Digital Art" folder. You clicked on the drop-down menu and choose "Photography" folder. You do this for all 200 groups you joined. You click submit. The next time you want to submit another photography deviation, all the groups default folder is the folder the last time you submit to groups. So, group A default folder of the drop-down menu would be "Photography". So you don't have to click the drop-down menu and choose the right folder again everytime you want to submit another deviation since you mostly only submit photography art. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT AND CAN SAVE TONS OF TIME.

I believe many people will find this super useful especially for new artists that are looking for more exposure! Also, it will decrease the chance of people putting deviation in wrong folders!

Thank you!

If you have more suggestion regarding this, feel free to drop a comment!
Chances are slim that DA will give a damn about this but I'm willing to at least try because it would really worth it if DA actually do something with the current group submission system!

IMPORTANT!
Please click "me too!" in the suggestion forum
even if you don't read all this it would mean the world to me if you click "me too!" button!
PLEASE SPREAD THIS JOURNAL!
Thank you so much!!
